Creativity for last week

Good Morning fellow bloggers,

I hope it has been a creative week for you.

I completed a piece for a challenge On Inspiration Ave Weekly, but lost track of time and didn't get it posted in time for the deadline. I need to focus more on meeting the deadlines, I usually complete the pieces in time, but seem to miss posting them.

I did something different this week, I went to one of those paint on canvas venues that are popping up everywhere in our area. My piece was Umbrella Lady which I will post later as I did no like her legs so I am trying to redo them. This is my first large piece on canvas, it was fun and can't wait to go back to do more.

I am posting my piece for the Hometown challenge. I am working on a piece for the Creative Everyday Challenge with the theme being black/white. I should be able to post that one soon.

I would really like to see fellow journaler's creations, please feel free to post them. Also would love comments and feedback regarding my pieces. I believe sharing feedback only helps me to get better as I go along. Everyone have a great week and feel inspired to be creative.

Well I am having one of those Mondays. I worked diligently on my MardiGras journal page last week for an Alphabet challenge for the Craft Barn. Then what do I do, forget to post the page by the close of the challenge. Such is life, I am moving on to the next letter, besides several other challenges I follow and post to.

I would like to hear from others as to what they have been working on, and share challenges you may follow. I like to do the challenges as they keep me motivated, and I learn so much from other's postings and comments about techniques and mediums they use. So please take a few minutes to put a comment as to what you are working on, and anything else you would like to share. The above picture is another page I did last week. Have a blessed week

Quiet Week

Well this has been kind of a slow week. I have been working on several pages which should be completed this weekend. I will post them on Monday. I am going to enter a tag challenge this weekend. I have never done a tag before, so this will be an interesting project. Would love to hear from some of you out there sharing some of your work and projects, techniques or hints you would like to share with us.
I have been playing with shaving cream and food colors and paints. I know I had seen something about this at one time, but did not really pay much attention; then the other night my grandchildren came home from a science fair and had done the shaving cream/food coloring art and I loved the marbled effect. So I have been trying it on some of my backgrounds. I am really having fun with it.

I am attaching some more of my pages from my first journal, I like to look back and have feedback from others as to how I am progressing. Hope everyone has a great weekend. 

Sharing Creativity

Happy Monday,
I had a rather rough time last week. I suffer from severe chronic back pain and degenerative joint disease.When the meds are not enough I go into depression, which of course isn't a very creative mind set. I have several challenges I am working on so hoping this week is better and I get inspired to do some creating. I love to hear from others about techniques, tools and pointers to help me enhance my own pieces. I would love for you to share some of your work. I spend hours going to websites and blogs looking at what others are creating. Hope to hear from many of you soon this is my main venue of socialization and I love to see what others are creating.

Collecting images of journal pages

Well this is hump day already, and I am so behind in what I want to accomplish. I am still trying to get a hang of this blogging and setting up my site moves smoothly for my new friendsI hope to make. My goal for the rest of the week is to get a couple of pages done for challenges and transfer images onto this site to share, but also to have easy access for posting to challenges and other sites as needed. New challenges

This is Monday and the beginning of March. Time to enter new challenges for this month. Would love to hear some of the challenges you post to. I will start posting my pieces as I get them completed. Journal pages

I am new to blogging so anyone who would like to give me tips, it would be greatly appreciated. I want to get very involved in the world of art journaling. I like to get involved in challenges, would love to get published and hopefully someday teaching.
